How to Play

Basic Rules

"This game is a chat-based mystery suspense game where each faction (Family Faction, Murderer Faction, and Other Factions) competes against each other.

Family Faction:
Will win by unraveling the 'Murderer' and the 'Item used to kill the master (weapon)' and exiling them.

Murderer Faction:
Will achieve victory by 'eliminating (including exiling) all members of the master's family.'

Other Factions:
Each has unique victory conditions. (For details, please check the description of each role.)"

Game Flow

The game is divided into parts: 'Discussion (Daytime),' 'Accusation (Sunset),' and 'Night Actions.' These parts proceed sequentially until a victory or defeat is determined.

(1) My True Self

After the match starts, each player's 'My True Self(Role)' is determined. Each player pretends to be a guest and searches for the murderer and their weapon.
*Depending on the situation, players may reveal their My True Self or deceive others.
*If lying within the Family Faction, falsehoods that do not contribute to the faction's victory are considered disruptive behavior.

(2) Night Actions

Each participating player can navigate the mansion by specifying a room. They can leave a room to search for items (or weapons) or seek refuge in another room. However, as the murderer is also active, encountering them leads to indiscriminate killings, not limited to only the Family Faction.

(3) Late Night

The results of actions chosen by each player during the night are displayed. Guests who encountered the murderer in the same room will be killed. Guests who did not encounter the murderer can search for items or utilize their abilities. Actions occur in a specific sequence based on roles, allowing some to act earlier or later than regular guests.
※ For details on the order of actions, please refer to the Frequently Asked Questions.

(4) Discussion (Daytime)

Players engage in chat to discuss their actions from the previous night, such as 'Did you leave a room?' 'Did you find an item?' or 'Where did you find it?' For instance, if a player found a 'wrench' in someone else's room (Roddy) the previous night, that person (Roddy) might claim that there was 'no wrench in their room.' 'Murderers,' 'criminals,' and individuals who want to hide their identities may lie. By pointing out such contradictions, players narrow down the suspects who might be the murderer and the weapon used.

(5) Accusation (Sunset)

"By accusing the 'murderer' and the 'item used to kill the host,' you can expel the murderer from the mansion. However, be cautious as making a wrong accusation might result in your own expulsion. Please note that in this game, expulsion is not achieved by "voting." While it's a team play, expulsion is based on individual judgment."

(6) Victory or Defeat

The match concludes and the outcome is determined by fulfilling the victory conditions of each faction.

* If the correct accusation cannot be made on the final day, all players eligible to accuse will be expelled.
